| How to Register |
Come the office on Fridays from 5PM - 6PM for open registration.

If you are from out of town, but would like to register to work in Las Vegas. Please email or mail your headshot and bodyshot and mail your payment to our office.
Vegas Background and/or Vegas Casting charge a photography/electronic image fee of $19.95. We accept cash only, so do your best to bring exact monies. This is a necessary tool to conduct business as extra and principal casting directors.
This fee includes 1 digital headshot and 1 digital body shot from the waist up that we will take at the office, so be sure to come ready to be photographed.
You may submit additional photographs to add to your online web page or we will gladly take additional digital photographs of you. There is a $4.95 processing fee per additional photo taken by us or submitted by you. You may email the additional photos to casting@vegasbackground.com or bring them with you when you register. We accept hard copy and disks.
If you are union, please bring your membership card or receipt for dues payment.

| Wardrobe |
The following wardrobe requests are NOT REQUIRED, but will help when booking you. The more choices of wardrobe that the production and/or client sees you in (producers, directors, photographers and advertising agencies see you in, the better chance you have of getting booked.
We will take digital photos of you including 1 headshot as well as 1 full body shot.
We ask that wear one upscale casual outfit upon arrival.
Here are the different types of wardrobe:
1. Upscale Business - Tuxedos, Gowns, or Suits.
2. Upscale Casual - This is what you would wear if you were hanging out all day at a casino or mall.
3. Club Wear - We want to see you show your stuff. This is what you would wear if you were going out to a club to dance and have a great time. Dress to impress!
4. Pool Attire - Bathing suits or whatever you would wear when going to the pool or the beach.
5. Specialty Outfit - Casino Dealer, Cocktail Waitress, Showgirl, Police Officer or any uniform that you think a movie or TV Show may need. |

Coley is a side street with no traffic light between Desert Inn Road and Sahara Ave. We are on the east side of the road right across the street from West Valley Imaging. |

Let the receptionist know that you are here to register with Vegas Background or Vegas Casting.
The receptionist will lead you to the Talent Waiting Area. |

Welcome to the Talent Waiting Area
Please have a seat, keep quiet and a Vegas Casting/Vegas Background casting director, casting associate or intern will be right with you.
Then you will stand on your mark and have your first photo taken, which is a headshot. Then we will take a body shot and ask you to go to the bathroom and change into your next wardrobe if you request it. When changing, please move along as quickly as possible so that we can send you on your way. |

Welcome to the Main Office
We will issue you a Talent ID and ask you to give us a password which will be the city you were born in.
We will give you a Vegas Background business card with your Talent ID and password on it, so please go home and go to www.vegasbackground.com and click on the yellow Talent Login.
Then enter your Talent ID and password and click submit. Read the instructions and fill in the rest of the information and click submit at the bottom of the page.
If you paid for additional photos to add to your web page, please email them to casting@vegasbackground.com with your name and Talent ID in the subject line. We will add them to your website the same day.
Email Blasts
We send out emails to everyone in our database regarding casting calls and acting classes or anything that we feel could be valuable to you as a actor, model or background actor. If the email doesn't apply to you, just delete it and forget about it.
If you don't want to receive Email Blasts from us, simply log in to your web page and delete your email from the email space and leave it empty.
Please keep in mind that you may miss out on an opportunity, if you choose to do so.
Some email accounts reject out email blasts as spam, so make sure you add casting@vegasbackground.com to your email list or just shut your spam blocker off completely.
The safest way to ALWAYS know what is going on is to check out the NEWS on ANY of our websites at least once a day. The news is the same on each of our four websites. Make it a habit!!

Availability List
If you are interested in working on a production, just add yourself to the Availability List that is on the Casting Calls page on www.vegasbackground.com. This lets us know who is available and wants to work on a production.
Booking
We will look over the Availability List and call people to book them. So if you see our numbers on your caller ID, answer the phone! You are not booked unless we call you and say "Your booked, go
Confirm Now or go Confirm Now at a certain time!"
Confirm Now
After we call you and book you, you MUST go to the
Confirm Now page on www.vegasbackground.com at the time we advised you to. Read over the production information and fill in your information at the bottom of the page and click submit.
If we don't receive confirmation from you and we cannot reach you on the phone, we will replace you with someone else!
What is specing?
Specing is the practice of seeking background work, extra work and audience work by going to a filming location that you are not booked on, hoping that their are no shows or booked people that are late so you can take their place.
We highly encourage specing, so if you are specing please follow the same requirements outlined on the Confirm Now page and show up nice and early.
If someone is late WE WILL book a specer. People that are not yet registered with Vegas Background may spec as well.
Keep these phone numbers in mind, but please DO NOT call our cell phones unless you are late for a call time or if it is an emergency.

Sometime after you complete registration, please check your profile on the www.vegasbackground.com and check to see if everything is correct.
All you have to do is go to www.vegasbackground.com and put your Talent ID in the Talent ID space in the Talent Search area located on the home page of the website.
